This BBQ feast wraps up Staff Appreciation Week 2026! What an amazing time we all had celebrating our wonderful Oak Park School Staff. From the Star Studded decoration to the aroma of bbq-ed burgers, no detail was missed making every day a special memory. Thank you to our sponsor, Detwiler’s Farm Market! The volunteers that made today possible were Brenda Spratt, Ariane MacNevin, and Aleah Burrill. These three ladies hung in for several hours on a very warm Sarasota day. A special thank you as well to Barry Taylor, Marilyn Rolston, and Jennifer Cadwell for set up and clean up. Thank you, again, Oak Park Staff for all you do everyday! We love you. A heartfelt ‘Thank You’ for the wonderful donations that made Day Four of Staff Appreciation Week possible. Bj’s wholesale for our Baked Potato toppings and Gecko’s Grill for the FABULOUS Chili! The smiles on these faces brought PTO immeasurable joy. Oak Park Staff, you are the heartbeat of our community.

Oak Park School PTO brought a little Hollywood glam for Day Three of Staff Appreciation Week and it was as fabulous as our staff! We are so grateful for Marie Hamm with Our Daily Bread and the Houser Family for their generous (and delicious) contribution that made today’s event possible! Our PTO came out to show Oak Park School Staff, just how much they are appreciated.

Tuesday’s Staff Appreciation Week goodies! A special ‘Thank You’ to the Courtyard Cafe for putting our goodie bags together and our PTO friend who donated all the chocolate for our amazing staff members! Yesterday would not have been possible without your dedication to PTO! We love you Ms. Brenda, Ms. Diane, and Mr. Barry!

Incredibly grateful to Lakeview Elementary PTO for allowing Oak Park School Structured Team to sell the items that our kids make while at school everyday! Oak Park teachers, staff, and admin do so much for our kids, propelling them forward!

With hearts full of gratitude, Oak Park School PTO President and Vice President, Ashley LaGasse and Marissa Sutton respectively, accepted a donation from Oak Park School’s Courtyard Cafe for our PTO sponsored Staff Appreciation Week coming up in May! We are so grateful to them for sharing our determination in providing our hard working staff the rewards and recognition they deserve. Thank you, Diane Serpi!
