Follow Floyd on his 2017 Bike Ride as he travels 4,000 miles to raise money for the Tri-Lakes Humane Society's new outdoor dog yard cover.

Floyd has done a few other long distance bike rides to help the shelter. One ride went from West coast to East coast and raised several thousand dollars for the spay/neuter program. The next ride went from Fairbanks Alaska to Saranac Lake and garnered about $8,000 for an anesthesia machine to make vet visits easier. In 2013, Floyd rode almost 12,000 miles around the USA and raised over $16,000 so the TLHS could afford to install a new sprinkler system inside the building.

Floyd visited the Indiantown Gap Army post in Annville, Pennsylvania on Friday 6/30. He is pedaling back to the east coast where he will complete his bike ride in Atlantic City later this month. ***BIKE RIDE UPDATE***
June 7th and 8th - Floyd is pedaling through Kansas on Route 56, and sent in these photos. He said "Not much out here. 90 degrees".
Floyd somehow finds a way to keep going through the heat and isolation of the open road. That takes a lot more than the average amount of strength and will power. Floyd is a SUPERHERO!!!

On Sunday, Floyd pedaled to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield, Illinois and snapped this photo. He is continuing his ride through Illinois towards Missouri this week.
