Thank You, Lavigne Family and Potsdam IGA! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
A heartfelt thank you to the Lavigne family and the team at the Potsdam IGA for their incredible support of Homeward Bound Adirondacks and our new Veteran Retreat Facility. Throughout the month of May, customers participated in the store's "Round Up" campaign, generously rounding up their purchases to support our mission. Thanks to the overwhelming support of the Potsdam community, an amazing $1,860.26 was raised to help create a place of healing, connection, and hope for veterans. Pictured are Kirk Lavigne and Store Manager Amber Hughes presenting the donation check on behalf of the Potsdam IGA team and their customers. Community partnerships like this make a lasting difference in the lives of the veterans we serve. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make this fundraiser a success. Thank you for standing with our veterans and helping us build a brighter futureβ€”one round-up at a time.

We are incredibly grateful to the Carrie Robinson family and the American Legion Post 939 of Brushton-Moira, NY, for their generous support of North Country veterans. Each year, Post 939 hosts its annual Festival of Lights, a multi-day holiday celebration in Malone, NY, that raises funds to support the mission of Homeward Bound Adirondacks. Through the dedication of the Legion members, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters, this year's event raised an impressive $7,250. Pictured are representatives of American Legion Post 939 presenting a check HBA Executive Director Valerie Ainsworth at the Memorial Garden and Flagpole of the SGT Carlton A. Clark Veterans Retreat Center, located at 12801 State Route 30, Malone, NY. This generous contribution will go directly toward helping us continue to "Open the Gate" for veterans across the North Country by providing life-changing programs, peer support, nature retreats, and critical services for those who have served our nation. On behalf of the veterans we serve, thank you, American Legion Post 939, Legion members, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters for your commitment to making a difference in the lives of our veterans and their families.
