Saranac Lake CSD High School’s AP Biology class recently participated in Science Behind the Scenes at Trudeau Institute for a special career exploration tour. Students got an inside look at a range of career paths across departments like Animal Lab Science, Microscopy & Imaging, and Pre-Clinical Contract Research.

Along the way, Trudeau staff shared what their day-to-day work looks like, the many jobs available in biology, and the different career paths that brought them to Trudeau.

Thank you to the Cloudsplitter Foundation for awarding the CCE Senior Fitness Program a grant that will allow us to expand our program with the addition of chair yoga classes.

We welcomed advanced science and math students from Tupper Lake Central School District High School to “Science Behind the Scenes,” our career exploration program at Trudeau Institute. Students participated in a variety of career seminars led by scientific staff and toured cutting-edge laboratory facilities. Support for this program is generously provided by the Cloudsplitter Foundation.
