The Troop 113 trailer was broken into recently and all of our much needed tools and camping supplies we had collected over the years were stolen. The trailer was locked and parked behind Stillwater Church, who also had their storage shed broken into. Because our Troop had recently inventoried the supplies, we have a nearly full list of what was taken. If you see these well worn items show up in a yard sale or pawn shop, know they may be stolen.

Troop 113 is a small Scouting Troop that has been a part of the Saraland Community for many years. Participating in the Veterans Day Ceremony, marching in parades, collecting worn American flags, cleaning up the community, and using Eagle projects to make Saraland a better place. This theft is devastating. If you wish to donate an item to replace one that was stolen, please contact Scoutmaster James Currie at [email protected].

From what we've been able to account for is missing, we are missing the following items.
Axe, Hatchet, x2 camp stoves, x1 large double burner propane boiler, Large first aid kit, 10x10 pop-up awning, box of miscellaneous items (rope, tie downs stakes and other camping gear), electronic box (x2 50-Ft extension cords, x2 surge protectors, batter operated lantern, battery/powered fans for air circulation, few other unknown items), x2 propane lanterns, x3 propane trees, Large Green Cooking box (x3 tree to stove hoses, x2 large water pots, griddle, large utensils, other miscellaneous items), Fire Box (Dutch oven handle tool, x2 pair welding gloves, aluminum foil, matches, lighters, charcoal lighter fluid, etc.), x2 patrol boxes (see hand written inventory sheet), other miscellaneous items we haven't realized yet.

James Ward and VFW Post 7320 Saraland, Al hosted BSA Troop 113 of Saraland, Al, BSA Cub Scout Pack 113, and the Girl Scout Troop of Chickasaw AL this afternoon for a Flag Retirement Ceremony. We were able to properly honor and retire over 200 flags. Thank you to the VFW for providing lunch for all the Scouts, leaders and parents who helped.
