Keep Saraland Beautiful is proud to award the “Yard of the Month” for April to Brenda McEachern of 959 Robert Williams Dr. Her passion for saving many of her mother’s plants gives this yard a varied and rewarding scene of memories, love and beauty. The beautiful lavender blooms on the climbing clematis, the opulence of the pink knockout roses along with amaryllis and Kimberly ferns set a lasting impression of a lovely spring pallet. Her yard is drenched with many botanical favorites - iron plants, plentiful ground cover, azaleas and a lovely blooming ivy trellised on the front porch. Rob McLean represented Keep Saraland Beautiful at the annual Keep America Beautiful Summit held this weekend in New Orleans. He got to visit with people from all over the nation, but was especially happy to meet folks from the Alabama affiliates. Looking forward to hearing from him at our next meeting. Join us on March 12 at noon when we meet at Saraland City Hall.

Keep Saraland Beautiful is proud to award the “Yard of the Month” for September to Harold and Leah Lambert of 24 Saraland Ave. Their lovely southern cottage is beautifully landscaped with lush St Augustine grass. An abundance of vincas in many contrasting color surrounds their inviting front porch. Congratulations to the Lamberts for providing Saraland with a vision of summer beauty.

🌿 Keep Saraland Beautiful has created a fun and educational 8-page activity booklet designed to teach children the importance of caring for our community—and all its residents, including our animal friends! 🐾
These booklets were recently shared with students at Saraland Early Education Center and North Mobile Christian School. 🎒✏️
