South County MOPS

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets September through May on Thursday evenings, at St. Catherine Laboure Sappington, MO in South County. MOPS group at St.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a faith-based organization where mothers from pregnancy through kindergarten can find community, connection and coffee! Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. If you are a mom with a child birth through kindergarten, we have a place for you! Catherine Laboure

(SCL) provides a supportive and accepting atmosphere for today’s mother. SCLMOPS meet September through May on Thursday evenings, at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Here moms have an opportunity to share faith and friendship and hear instruction that equips them for the responsibilities of family and community. Every meeting begins with coffee and conversation. We continue with prayer and sharing celebrations. Then we launch into the meeting topic, which may be instructional, service-oriented or social. In addition to bimonthly meetings, you can add playdates and moms' night out to your calendar. These events continue to build the relationships between all of us. Most of our kids have started back to school, here is a Back To School prayer, to pray over their year. This might calm our mom nerves, remember, God's got this!

Lord, we ask for protection and safety for all parents, teachers, and students as they begin this new school year. Guard their minds and hearts from unnecessary fear and worry. We also ask for good health and personal safety. Give those in charge wisdom and clarity to maintain an environment suitable to learning. Bless all who sacrifice their time, talents, and energy to make this a successful school year. We ask these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Join MOPS on Labor Day, September 5th, for Popsicles in the Park! All are welcome, invite friends to join you! We will be at Crestwood Park at 6pm with popsicles, playground fun, and mom time!

We had our “Tacos and Testimony” meeting last night, our last meeting of the year. It was a fun end of the year celebration filled with yummy tacos, lots of laughs and a few serious moments. Thank you for all who shared last night, we appreciate your openness. Thank you to all of those who helped organize the evening I think it was what we all needed.
We will have some events over the summer so keep your eye on the page for more details.
