⚠️ MEETING UPDATE & APOLOGY ⚠️
We sincerely apologize for the misinformation shared earlier today regarding the Tax Commissioner meeting.
When we arrived for the scheduled meeting this morning, we were informed that there was no meeting at that time. We were later told the meeting had been rescheduled to 5:30 PM this evening.
We were also advised that there would be no discussion related to Sapelo at tonight’s meeting.
Some of us will still be in attendance. However, based on past experiences and repeated tactics, this last-minute change in meeting time created a serious inconvenience—especially for those who traveled from Sapelo Island specifically to participate this morning.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the incorrect information on the original flyer. Our goal has always been to keep the community informed and involved, and we regret any confusion or hardship this caused.
