Now these are the names…

Hostage Vigil 1:30-4:30 PM today
while making challah @ Bread House

The Torah portion being read throughout the world today is Exodus 1:1-6:1 and begins with “Now these are the names”.

Challah making as we pray for each hostage name. Bread represents flesh. There were always 12 challah in the Presence of God, representing the 12 tribes of Israel (Leviticus 24:5-9)

This will be a very engaging time of research about each person and bringing details into the Presence to encounter the heart of God for their future, for their rescue, and even for resurrection.

Contact me if joining so I can prepare ingredients. 🙏🇮🇱❤️

Erez is my sourdough mentor and dear friend of six years. Full of warm wisdom, rare integrity and a servant heart, he continues to create comfort in the unique community of Klil near Lebanon’s border despite having a bag packed for evacuation at a moment’s notice. My daughter and I visited him in Israel at his Bread Tree bakery many years ago and have continued to visit each year. Next month I visit Israel again and will be hosting workshops beforehand to raise funds to go and deliver gifts directly to my dear Israeli friends who are weathering the urgent effects of this historic crisis. Bread is a global and ancient symbol of life, join me in multiplying tender remembrance amid upheaval. See link in bio to schedule private workshops or sign up for upcoming Bread House events!
