🌍✨ Bringing a little bit of the Sonoma Serengeti straight to brave hearts at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford! 🌿🦒
Today, our amazing Eric (our incredible guide, hospital outreach coordinator & Safari West LIVE producer) teamed up with the talented videographer Anneliese (Anni) for a special live interactive show — full of giraffes stretching for snacks, ostriches dancing in the wind, cheetahs lounging in the sun, and so much more wild wonder!

These virtual safaris give pediatric patients a joyful escape, spark curiosity, and remind them that adventure is always just a moment away — even from their hospital rooms. 💛

Huge thanks to the incredible team at Lucile Packard for letting us share the magic, and to every child watching: you inspire US every single day.

For those of you stuck in traffic during your morning commute, Safari West LIVE can definitely relate… This was the “giraffic jam” we encountered yesterday morning following our show with Seacrest Studios during our drive back to Basecamp. While we were only delayed by a few minutes, the sight of these awe-inspiring creatures never ceases to amaze!

It is an honor and a privilege to spend time with all of the extraordinary kids, their wonderful families, and the exceptional Child Life Services professionals at Children’s Hospitals all across the country! A huge thank you to Ryan Seacrest Foundation, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for making our show so special, and for letting us be a part of your adventure, too!

Angelina has been a Safari West tour guide/ranger for the last two years, and decided she wanted to use her passion and knowledge to bring laughs, smiles, and giraffes to children in pediatric hospitals units across the United States.

Safari West Wildlife Foundation would like to welcome out newest Safari West LIVE member Anneliese Thorp to the team.

Anneliese (AKA: Anni) has worked at Safari West as a server in the Safari West Savannah Cafe for the last two years. Over the course of the last eighteen months Anni has graciously, and enthusiastically, volunteered her time to support the Safari West LIVE mission, and has already developed a strong understanding of audiovisual storytelling, and live broadcast programming.

Thank you Anni for all of your dedication and passion these last months, and ❤️WELCOME❤️ to a well deserved place on the team!
