Community Market in Sebastopol is hosting a clothing swap on Saturday, March 21st from 11am-2:30pm. It's free and you can drop off your gently used, unwanted clothing until 1pm. You don't have to bring anything to browse and take items home. It'll be fun! See link for details and other events at Community Market.

Come to our workshop on February 7th from 10am-12pm. Zero Waste Sonoma, Recology, and Zero Waste Action Sonoma County/Community Bikes will be covering the 4 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle, and how to work them into your lifestyle. From "what goes where" in your waste bins, to shopping to reduce waste, to how to put on a clothing swap with your friends, these best practices will save you money and keep the good stuff out of the landfill! All workshop attendees will receive a free compost bucket and reference materials to practice proper waste disposal at home.

Join the Reuse Alliance on Wednesday, August 13th at Brooks Note Winery in Petaluma for a special sneak peek presentation of the Sonoma - Marin Reuse Hub, launching in September 2025, and learn more about how you can be part of a movement that empowers our community to reuse instead of toss!

The Reuse Hub will be a community space where people can come together to repair, share, and reimagine waste. The Hub will offer hands-on workshops, training, volunteer opportunities, and events that build a culture of reuse.

As usual, volunteers are needed for short shifts. It is a lot of fun and volunteers get first crack at items as they come in! You can also get household items repaired and textiles mended and shop!

shoes and accessories and give away unwanted yet still useful goods.

Women's, Men's and Children's items welcome.
Quality wearables only please! Leave tired, ragged or dirty items at home.

Remainders are donated to local non-profits selected by the
volunteers hauling the goods. Suggestions welcome!

We are hosting a clothing swap at the Climate Ready Cotati Fair on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10am - 2pm. We still need volunteers who would be willing to help with setting up at 9am, sorting items and keeping displays tidy during the event and with packing up/cleaning up after the event until about 2:30pm.
