Hollyhill Hummingbird Farm Hollyhill Hummingbird Farm, an educational Nonprofit, is made up of volunteers working toward the goal of building a better community and a better world.

Missions: 1) Ethical and symbiotic relationship of life 2) Education to all those who consider us community on how to treat life ethically and symbiotically 3) Strive to keep a balance of symbiosis with the community; however, NEVER bend ethically We are federally recognized 501(c)3 public charity, i.e. all donations are tax deductible! iosis, it is fed while it feeds. This is our model and final goal within the community and beyond. Examples of sustainable techniques Hollyhill Hummingbird Farm is practicing:
The chickens forage and are supplemented only with organic feed
The manure from the chickens is used for the fertilizer in the garden
The chickens eat leftover kitchen scraps and plants from the garden (even weeds)
No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used
No new resources are purchased whenever possible, they are locally sourced discard items or donations of reclaimed materials
Crop rotation is done to reduce pests and keep the fertility of the soil
Inedible plant matter is tilled back into the soil from which it grew to put the nutrients back..

What do Pliny the Elder, Egyptians, Arizona, Daft Punk and Hummingbird Farm have in common?
Pliny the historian, not the beer, wrote about the Egyptian tale of it. It is the capital of Arizona. Did you Get Lucky yet or did I still Punk you Daft?
