It is not the job of the Postal Service to decide who gets what mail. It is our job to deliver the mail that is put into the mail stream. The Postal Service is non-partisan, and should not have what is delivered decided on the political whims of what ever administration is residing in Washington DC

The NALC and the USPS have not agreed to a new national agreement. The parties are going to go through the required 60-day mediation period. During that time, the parties will continue to negotiate a new contract.

The terms of the expiring contract will remain in effect until a new contract is either negotiated or arbitrated.

The National Association of Letter Carriers, NALC, is the national labor union of city delivery letter carriers employed by the United States Postal Service.
