A busy day 5. More merit badge work. Preparing for campwide flags tomorrow. Olympicade, then Pentathalon. Outdoor Scoutmast we r BBQ followed by the SPL Campfire. 2 of our Scouts got to be MC for the campfire for working on Communications Merit Badge. Day 4. Camp continues. Continued work on Merit Badges. I got a chance to see some Scouts at shotgun. Branding was open at Silver Spur. Mr Kracht finished the Trail of the Coyote. Fun was had on the log roll. Our first Mile Swim gor the week was completed. It was OA day today & we represented Orca Lodge. Cobler night as well.

Lillian had a great Eagle project at Sugarloaf State Park. We were busy putting in new signs for the drive up "Planet Walk" to give a sense of scale of how big planets are vs how far apart the planets are. This is on the drive up to Sugarloaf and out to the Observatory.

Some of our scouts wanted a second week of camp this summer. A group of them went to Wente in early July as provisional scouts. They had a great time working on a bunch of different merit badges. Our Scoutmaster was able to go up to Wente one day and see what they had been up to for the week.
