At CVNL, we believe stronger communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and selflessness made it possible for us to build, serve, and support our communities every day.

As we reflect, we carry forward their legacy through compassion, service, and a deep commitment to one another. Today and always, we honor their sacrifice with gratitude. 💛

🎉 Happy California Nonprofits Day! 🎉

Today, we celebrate the incredible nonprofit organizations that quietly and tirelessly strengthen our communities every day—responding to disasters, supporting seniors, addressing food insecurity, and delivering essential services that keep our state thriving.

Nonprofits are the heart of California, and their impact touches every corner of our community. We’re grateful for the dedication, compassion, and leadership that make this work possible.

Join us in celebrating and uplifting the organizations and individuals who show up every day to make a difference. 💛

Volunteers are at the heart of strong communities—but they don’t do it alone. 💛

Behind every act of service is a system that connects, prepares, and supports people to make a real difference. That’s the role CVNL plays every day.

Last year, we mobilized 1,800+ volunteers and supported 350+ organizations—but the need continues to grow.

Your support helps power the people—and the systems—that make volunteerism possible. Give today and be part of what makes community work. https://na2.hubs.ly/H05B1CV0

🗳️ Be the change our community needs.

Voter engagement is one of the many ways nonprofits help strengthen the communities they serve. From sharing trusted information to encouraging participation and awareness, these efforts support outcomes we all care about—strong schools, accessible healthcare, housing stability, and a healthy environment.

With 1.5 million nonprofits nationwide, supported by millions of staff and volunteers, our collective reach is powerful. When communities feel informed and empowered to participate, everyone benefits.

The recent Heart of Napa awards ceremony was a beautiful celebration of the incredible impact made by so many Napa community members! We were deeply honored to be nominated for the Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence award, and equally thrilled to celebrate Deborah Freed Goldman, our Board Vice Chair and Napa Advisory Board Chair, for her nomination for the Excellence in Board Leadership Award.

Thank you, Deborah, for your tireless commitment to our mission, your thoughtful engagement with our students, and your incredible support of our community!
