🐄 Help Us Plan a Ranch Calf Show! 🐄

We’re exploring the possibility of adding a Ranch Calf Show to next year’s Guadalupe County Fair, and we want YOUR input!

Beef producers, parents, Fair Board members, and community supporters are encouraged to attend, share ideas, and help us build an opportunity that supports our youth and local beef industry.

Attention GCF fairgoers. A pair of DWI Goggles were picked up from the DWI Information table at the indoor exhibit. Please return to Savanna or to the table. There are cameras that were rolling and a report was filed.

Indoor exhibit entries - Open and 4-H accepted TODAY 12-7 at the Armory gym and TOMORROW 9-12 (fresh baked and floral items tomorrow, please)! Come out for ALL the fun festivies, including the ALL-NEW 4-H Pancake and burrito breakfast fundraiser Saturday 8 - 10:30am. Fantastic band for Saturday night - entry is $10.

Today, we celebrate a true legend of Guadalupe County.

Congratulations to Walter “Porky” Jones on your well-earned retirement! Thank you for nearly 20 years of dedicated service to New Mexico’s livestock industry and for the countless ways you’ve supported our ranchers, 4-H and FFA youth, and community. Your integrity, kindness, and commitment have left a lasting impact on generations.

Thank you, Porky, for everything you’ve done. We wish you all the best in this next chapter—you’ve certainly earned it! 🤠🐂🌻
