Give Kids A Smile Day 2026- volunteers needed for Friday, February 6th from 7:45am- 12:30 pm. RDH's needed to provide preventative care to children at our Rohnert Park site. Please contact Daisy Trejo at [email protected] if you are available.

Give Kids A Smile event is part of the National ADA GKAS event that provides dental care to uninsured or underinsured children ages 0-18 years. Here in Sonoma County, this will be our 21st anniversary of the event. We hope you can join us!

Earlier this year, we were successful in getting an amendment to SB 1415 to protect RDHAP's. The time has come for committee to do their final vote! Let's let them know what we think! Here's how:

Individuals may register and submit their support letter and comments to the position letter portal by following the directions listed below. Letters and comments in support of the measure must be submitted to the portal by Monday, June 17th

Visit the following webpage: https://sbp.senate.ca.gov/

Select measure type, measure number and Session Type. (Senate Bill, or SB; 1451, Regular)

Click on “Submit Position Letter” and follow the instructions to submit a letter for SB 1451 (Ashby) as an individual.

Click on the “Search” button.

Select the appropriate Committee (Senate Business Professions & Economic Development Committee)

Select Your Stance (Support)

Input note message in the note box. (Write why you support fixing the law to allow RDHAPs to keep their practices open and continue seeing patients in underserved communities)

Complete the Captcha and select the “Submit” button
