💜 Purple Thursday at FJCSC 💜

This Purple Thursday, we wore purple to stand with survivors of domestic violence, honor their strength, and remember those whose lives have been lost to abuse.

Domestic violence affects our families, our children, our workplaces, and our entire community. At the Family Justice Center Sonoma County, we remain committed to supporting survivors, connecting individuals and families with vital resources, and creating pathways to safety, healing, and hope.

Thank you to everyone who wore purple and stood in solidarity with survivors. Your support is a reminder that no one should have to face abuse alone. 💜

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, income or background. By raising awareness, promoting prevention and connecting survivors with resources, we can help break the cycle of violence and build a safer community for everyone.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those whose lives have been taken, and remind our community that domestic violence affects all of us.

This month, we hold close the families grieving lives lost while standing with survivors who are still seeking safety.

Awareness is important, but action matters. Believing survivors, recognizing warning signs, taking threats seriously, and ensuring people have somewhere safe to turn can save lives.

At the Family Justice Center, our doors are open. Drop-in Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm at 2755 Mendocino Ave in Santa Rosa. Or call us at 707-565-8255.
