There are many ways to be an ally in the struggle against racism, inequality, and injustice. To support our community members in fighting for change, we will be sharing resources for anti-racist action and education. This google doc (https://tinyurl.com/ybpqb6xh) provides information on protest safety, anti-racist nonprofits, recommended reading, and more. We will continue to use our platform to speak out against white supremacy, to share educational resources, and to point to actions that we can all take. Stay safe, stand up, and speak out.

At today's Community Meeting, Chris Fitzsimmons '09 spoke with our students about his career in film production. We learned about a few of the challenges of producing the Disney+ feature film "Noel," including scouting locations, using synthetic ice, and working with live caribou (apparently, they can be real divas!) Chris's visit is part of our new Alumni Speaker series, in which Sonoma Academy graduates working in many different fields come to talk with our community about their varied career paths.
