This World Food Day, we recognize the people who help keep our communities nourished, from the farmers who grow our food to the volunteers, food donors and partners who help get it to the people who need it.

At the Redwood Empire Food Bank, we know that ending hunger takes all of us. Every day, our community comes together to help ensure our neighbors across Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt and Del Norte counties have access to the food they need.

Everyone deserves access to nutritious food. Thank you to everyone who plays a part in making that possible. Together, we can build a stronger, more food-secure community.

We’re one week into Project Pasta, and donations are starting to come in!

Every box makes a difference! Donations will help feed our community. This month, our Kitchen Collective volunteers just happen to be making pasta!

While Project Pasta donations are still rolling in and haven’t been tallied yet, they could help stock our kitchen once the food drive wraps up at the end of the month. That means your pasta could help provide meals prepared by Chef Don and our incredible volunteers for neighbors in our community.

Help us keep Project Pasta going strong and reach our goal of 20,000 boxes of pasta by October 31!

We've made it easier to drop off your food donations!

When you stop by the rear of our building at 3990 Brickway Blvd., Santa Rosa, Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, you'll now find a dedicated donation station where you can drop off your items.

It's pasta time!

This October, Oliver's Market is helping the Redwood Empire Food Bank collect 20,000 boxes of pasta for our neighbors facing food insecurity. All month long on Oliver's shelves, you can find: 16 oz. Barilla Pasta for $1.79 and Bionaturae Gluten Free Pasta for $3.49.

Pasta is a pantry staple that's easy to prepare and can become a warm, filling meal for families.

Pick up an extra box during your next trip to Oliver's and drop it in their Redwood Empire Food Bank collection barrels!

Good news! SB 881 has been signed into law!

Thank you to everyone who took action and advocated alongside us to support the Farmer-to-Food Bank Tax Credit and Tax Return Checkoff.

These programs are important tools for California's emergency food network, and thanks to your voices, they'll continue for years to come.
