As my year as Miss West Florida’s Teen comes to a close, I find myself feeling incredibly grateful as I reflect on everything this journey has meant to me. This year has truly been one of the most special and unforgettable experiences of my life. I am so thankful for the opportunity to represent such an amazing community and to grow not only as a titleholder, but also as a person.
None of this year would have been possible without the incredible support system that surrounded me along the way. To my family, friends, mentors, directors, sponsors, and everyone who supported and encouraged me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness, guidance, and belief in me gave me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone and embrace every opportunity that came my way.
One of the most meaningful parts of my year was sharing my Community Service Initiative on WJHG and using my platform to give back to others. Being able to serve West Florida and advocate for something that matters so much to me has been an experience I will always treasure.
I am also incredibly thankful for the mentorship I received from former Teen and Miss candidates. Their guidance, encouragement, and willingness to share their experiences have been truly invaluable, and they helped me grow both on and off the stage.
Throughout this year, I have been blessed with so many memories, meaningful moments, and friendships that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. From the appearances and events to the lessons learned behind the scenes, every part of this experience helped shape me into a stronger and more confident young woman.
It is bittersweet knowing this chapter is coming to an end. While it is hard to say goodbye to my time as Miss West Florida’s Teen, I will always be thankful that I had the opportunity to experience something so special. This title and everything it represents will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, believed in me, and made this year so memorable. I will forever be grateful for this experience and for the memories that will stay with me long after the crown is passed on.
Your first, West Florida’s Teen, Chloe Reese O’Donoghue
