Something BIG is happening in our Santa Paula garage…
We’re 3D printing and building 3 life-sized Triceratops. One for the science center in Iowa, one for the in Wyoming, and one for RIGHT here in Santa Paula, at Leap Lab, the Ventura country Science Center.

"We Build Giants," we embark on an exciting journey using a large-format 3D printer to bring prehistoric creatures to life. With access to the extensive free archives of the Smithsonian, we delve into the fascinating world of Triceratops. The archives provide us with detailed scans of this magnificent dinosaur, which are essential for completing the leap lab model. By combining cutting-edge technology with historical accuracy, we aim to recreate the Triceratops with precision and awe-inspiring detail. This week promises to be an enthralling exploration of both past and present, as we leverage modern tools to commemorate the giants of history.
