Disappointing this is not launching in SaMo - hopefully it will be here soon.

Know before you buy - e-bikes and illegal e-motos are not the same. In Santa Monica we have seen these illegal e-motos -- creating havoc and safety issues -- these are not the same as regulated e-bikes.
More education on e-bike coming on our platform and website.

A flurry of bills this year threatened to stall the climate-friendly e-bike revolution. Thankfully, lawmakers are taking a saner path.

We will be joining the celebration at the opening of the 19th Street Community Farm and Wellness Garden with a Street Party.
Complete with music, garden activities, arts & crafts, food trucks and of course, getting your hands dirty and checking out the new garden space. We’ll be giving away free helmets!

This event is open and free to the public, with the exception of purchasing food from the food trucks.
Limited parking will be available on SMC Campus, we encourage arrival via walk, bike or bus .

Santa Monica City Council has just accepted $10.5 million in state and county funding for the future Great Park!

The nearly $500k Measure A grant helps move the project from planning toward implementation, while the $ten million Proposition 4 award recognizes the Great Park's potential to restore habitat, improve stormwater management, address extreme heat, expand access to nature, and create lasting environmental and public health benefits.

Perhaps most importantly, these awards help position Santa Monica for future investment and demonstrate that state and regional partners see the value and promise of this project. As these funds are put to work, they will help turn years of planning and community engagement into visible progress on the ground. That progress will help build public confidence that the community's vision for a Great Park is becoming a reality.
