We will be joining the celebration at the opening of the 19th Street Community Farm and Wellness Garden with a Street Party.
Complete with music, garden activities, arts & crafts, food trucks and of course, getting your hands dirty and checking out the new garden space. We’ll be giving away free helmets!

This event is open and free to the public, with the exception of purchasing food from the food trucks.
Limited parking will be available on SMC Campus, we encourage arrival via walk, bike or bus .

YES!!!!! Awesome news!

Santa Monica City Council has just accepted $10.5 million in state and county funding for the future Great Park!

The nearly $500k Measure A grant helps move the project from planning toward implementation, while the $ten million Proposition 4 award recognizes the Great Park's potential to restore habitat, improve stormwater management, address extreme heat, expand access to nature, and create lasting environmental and public health benefits.

Perhaps most importantly, these awards help position Santa Monica for future investment and demonstrate that state and regional partners see the value and promise of this project. As these funds are put to work, they will help turn years of planning and community engagement into visible progress on the ground. That progress will help build public confidence that the community's vision for a Great Park is becoming a reality.

SB 1167 starts from a simple premise: legal e-bikes are bicycles, and California should protect their promise while drawing a clear line between e-bikes and high-speed electric motorcycles.

California Bicycle Coalition is proud to sponsor SB 1167 alongside PeopleForBikes, Streets Are For Everyone, and Streets for All. Read more on the CalBike blog about how the Mineta report helped shape this evidence-based approach to e-bike safety and consumer clarity.

SB 381 was designed to slow that debate down enough to ground it in evidence. CalBike and others urged the legislature to go deep on research to make an informed decision on the best way forward for this promising technology.

This Sunday, May 17th join us a Clover Park for our May Kidical Mass family bike ride to celebrate and Mental Health and Awareness Month.
Join us at 9am for coffee, beverages, bagels and snacks, and pre-ride activities for everyone!!
