The Santa Monica Women's Beach Volleyball Association is an informal organization of the women who play beach volleyball in Santa Monica. The goal of this group is to bring together the women beach volleyball players of Santa Monica to form a strong, vibrant, thriving community. This community page was established to provide a forum for continuing our efforts to ensure equal access to beach volleyball courts in Santa Monica and to share insights, feedback, and news about women's beach volleyball in Santa Monica. The community page may also be used to set up games, find players, substitutes, partners, announce tournaments/events and welcome new women beach volleyball players to the area as well as to develop programs for growing women's beach volleyball in Santa Monica. All suggestions and feedback are welcome!

Coming to OP this weekend, Sunday, August 16th. The 10th Annual Gene Selznick Memorial California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) Open. Music and Post Tournament party at Perry's Cafe and Beach Rentals . 2400 Ocean Front Walk, Santa Monica. Come on down for a great day of high level beach volleyball competition as teams battle on the sand for a piece of the $15,000 prize purse!
Men's and Women's Champions earn a wildcard bid into the Hermosa Beach Open, September 12 -13 at the Hermosa Beach Pier.

Gillis Volleyball Tournament Mural unveiling Tuesday, May 19 at 8:30 AM at Toes Beach (6615 Pacific Ave, Playa Del Rey). Join the Friends of the Jungle, the CD11 Foundation, and Councilwoman Traci Park’s office in the unveiling of a new mural celebrating 50 years of the legendary Gillis Volleyball Tournament — a true Playa del Rey tradition that has brought generations together on the sand.
