It was a GOOD day at the beach for our last February cleanup 40 amazing volunteers came together and collected 217.6 pounds of trash—making our shoreline cleaner and brighter and starting the year off strong . Thank you to everyone who joined the effort! 💙

Last year, our community came together at Santa Monica Beach with a goal of removing 1,000 pounds of debris.
Together, we exceeded that goal — collecting 1,341.18 pounds from our coastline.

This accomplishment is something we’re proud of, and we also hold it with care and perspective. January marks a time of remembrance for the lives, homes, and communities impacted by the LA fires. As we reflect on environmental stewardship, we honor those who were affected and continue to rebuild.

None of this work happens without people showing up, leading with intention, and holding space for both action and humanity. A heartfelt thank you to the individuals and our Zero Debris Angels Club who made these beach cleanups possible:

Join Us for Our December 27 Beach Cleanup

We’re coming together to create a day of joy, festivity, and genuine connection while making a meaningful impact on our coastline.

Goals for This Cleanup:
• Collect 270 pounds of debris to help restore and protect the beach
• 56+ volunteers who arrive with enthusiasm and a spirit of community
• 22+ participants together to connect and enjoy beach games after the cleanup

Mark your calendar for December 27 and be part of an experience that strengthens both our environment and our community.
