Volunteer at the Westside Repair Café on June 7 at Virginia Avenue Park and help give clothing, electronics, small appliances, and more a second life.

The Repair Café is still looking for additional volunteers to help with the event. They are accepting volunteers for repair stations at all skill levels and non-repair volunteers.

🎨🌿 Young artists took center stage at the Annenberg Community Beach House as the City of Santa Monica celebrated the winners of the 18th Annual Sustainable Santa Monica Student Poster Contest!

This year’s theme, “Reducing Emissions While Creating Resilient Communities,” inspired hundreds of local K-12 students to turn big environmental ideas into powerful works of art. From clean transportation and renewable energy to greener neighborhoods and climate resilience, the creativity on display was a vivid snapshot of the next generation’s vision for a more sustainable future. 🌎✨

The award ceremony honored the student winners, whose posters will now help inspire the broader community to think boldly about sustainability and climate action.
