Midwives at the edges often work far from records offices and libraries, so we built a tool for them. 📱

Midwife Mobile Stats is a birth log in the palm of your hand. Midwives, students, nurses, and doulas can record the births they attend, track outcomes, and carry midwifery references and clinical guidelines with them, even offline. Each user is the only person with access to their complete data. Anonymized, aggregated data helps build the evidence for midwifery-led care.

In Myanmar, trained community midwives keep caring for mothers and newborns in very hard circumstances.

We walk alongside them with continuing education, like newborn resuscitation practice, and help them build a lasting workforce of midwives in their own region.

In remote corners of the Middle East, traditional midwives are often the only care a mother has.

We gather midwives from across the region, teach hands-on skills with simple tools like these, and equip them to go home and teach others in places we could never reach ourselves.

One trained midwife becomes many. That's the goal. 💛

Hello friends! Midwives @ the Edges is hiring a Lead Midwife for our Desert Midwives program, working to close the maternity care deserts of Northern New Mexico - not by importing providers, but by growing a community-rooted workforce.

We're looking for a New Mexico Licensed Midwife (or someone eligible), CPM or CNM, with a heart for community-led care and experience as a preceptor. Full-time and community-based across Northern New Mexico.
