⚠️ NMSIF Members: Severe Weather Reminder

Significant rainfall is expected across New Mexico over the coming days, with the potential for flash flooding, hail, and strong winds in some areas.

🌧️ Before the storms:
• Secure or bring indoors outdoor furniture, signage, equipment, and other loose items
• Move vehicles to garages, covered parking, or protected areas when possible

🏢 After the storms, once it is safe:
• Check roofs, gutters, skylights, and HVAC units
• Look for leaks or water intrusion in ceilings, walls, and floors
• Check basements and low-lying facilities for flooding
• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and other exposed property

📸 If you find damage:
• Take photos or video before cleanup or repairs
• Take reasonable steps to prevent further damage
• Report your claim promptly

A reminder that influence doesn’t always have to be loud to make a difference. 💛

At our 69th Annual Conference in Las Cruces, keynote speaker Jeff Civillico shared “Everyday Influence: Quiet Power That Moves People, Shapes Culture, and Ignites Possibility,” challenging us to think about the impact we have through the everyday moments that shape our workplaces and communities.

Jeff also helped bring that message to life by leading our Care Kits for Kids project. Conference attendees came together to assemble and personalize care packages that were delivered to children in the hospital.

Thank you, Jeff, for reminding us that meaningful influence often begins with something simple: showing up, connecting with others, and choosing to make a difference.
