The Care and Feeding of Therapists:
For Art Therapists, Counselors and others in the Helping Professions
What : A 6 weeks series of mindfulness, creativity, movement and sharing to support therapists to unwind, re-Source and connect with one another. As therapists we need a chance to share with each other and metabolize all that we hold for others. We offer this time and space to come together and do the things that help us stay fresh, present and resourced in our work and in our personal lives.
When: Saturday March 7-April 11, 2020 from 3:30-6:30PM

Facilitated by: Tejal Murray LPCC ART-BC is a residential Therapist at New Moon Lodge in Ohkay Owingeh, and an Art Therapist at Tierra Nueva Counseling Center.. She offers many years’ experience holding a healing space for people to re-center, and re-source through mindfulness, yoga and creativity.
& Dana Tsyconyea Simmons: LMHC, ART-P, LMT, TST, CCHT is a Somatic Art Therapist in Private Practice and a Founder of Santa Fe Integrative Therapy offering Psychedelic Prep & Integration and An Expanded Access Protocol for M**A assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD.
Format: Each session will begin with 30 minutes of gentle stretching and movement, then we will go into the creative process for 1.5 hours. You may bring a project you would like to work on throughout the 6 weeks, like a canvas or an altered book, or you may let your self be drawn to the painting, collaging and drawing materials will provide for you. We will take an hour to share about our creative process, and end with a closing meditation.
Cost: $150 for whole series payable by Check made out to NMATA on 1rst day, or $35 for 1 Workshop.
