Creative Santa Fe

Creative Santa Fe In November 2021, Creative Santa Fe emerged from a year long dormancy with a new team and expanded mission.

Creative Santa Fe’s mission is to leverage Santa Fe’s unique sense of place, using collaboration and the power of the arts to reframe critical issues and drive positive change. Founded in 2005, the organization has a rich history of convening organizations and creatives to address issues that impact our community through vibrant public events, developing cross-sector partnerships, and building bri

dges of understanding. The organization adds to our services, providing comprehensive brand strategy and communication development to individuals and organizations who are committed to positive social change, amplifying the work of nonprofits, businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies.

Our next PechaKucha Night Santa Fe is Wednesday, August 12, 2026 - and we want to hear your story. 🎤✨

Interested in presenting at VOL. 30: AMERICA?
Presenter Intake Form Due: June 7th
We’re looking for voices, perspectives, and stories that explore what America means after 250 years of experimentation in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Is this the land of opportunity - or a game of thrones?
Are we chasing freedom for something or from something?
In a country shaped by borders, movements, and beliefs, each of us carries a different America.

Come share stories of in(ter)dependence from revolutionaries and builders to skeptics and believers.

PechaKucha Night Santa Fe doesn't happen on its own. It takes an incredible community of partners, sponsors, and supporters who believe in the power of creativity, storytelling, and connection. 💚✨

This moment is dedicated to the organizations that help make these evenings possible.

Thank you to our sponsors and partners: the City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development and Arts & Culture Department, Hutton Broadcasting, Zane Bennett Gallery, Trend Magazine, and Cafecito.

Your support helps create a space where local creatives and changemakers can share their stories, where audiences can gather in community, and where meaningful conversations continue long after the final slide.

A special thank you to Cafecito for nourishing our presenters, volunteers, and crew behind the scenes, and to all of our partners for investing in a vibrant, creative Santa Fe.

We are grateful for your belief in this work and your commitment to strengthening our community through the arts.

Creative Santa Fe is often seen as part of the arts and culture world — but we see ourselves as something broader. We believe creativity belongs everywhere.

Our role is to champion creativity and collaboration across industries, communities, and conversations. We’re here to create brave spaces for learning, listening, and connection so we can build a more vibrant, inclusive, and adaptive future together.

Whether through PechaKucha Night, Beyond Profit, salons, or community gatherings, our hope is simple: to bring people together around ideas that matter.

We hope you’ll join us. ✨

PechaKucha Night Santa Fe began with a deeply moving community blessing led by Jean Paul Granillo. ✨💚

Before the stories unfolded, before the laughter and applause filled the room, Jean Paul grounded us in presence, connection, and gratitude.

It was a beautiful reminder that gathering together in community is sacred — that storytelling can hold emotion, healing, culture, and belonging all at once.

This special opening set the tone for an evening filled with openness, vulnerability, joy, and heart. Thank you, Jean Paul, for creating such a powerful moment for all of us.

Something new is coming from Creative Santa Fe ✨

We’re excited to launch the 53/20 Salon Series — intimate gatherings inspired by the “rest of the hour” after a PechaKucha talk ends. Named after the 6 minutes and 40 seconds of a PechaKucha presentation, these salons create space for deeper conversation, creativity, and connection with some of your favorite presenters.

Our first salons include:
🌱 Reese Baker in conversation with Penina Meisel exploring permaculture, mycelium, and gardening
💡 Ward Hendon and Ron Dimon discussing impact investing
🎨 Charles Phillips and Andrew Hoffman hosting an evening inspired by micro museums and curiosity boxes

Each salon has its own flavor — organic, community-driven, and designed to bring people together around ideas, creativity, and collaboration.

We can’t wait to share more details and see you there.

Roger Smith of Fault Tolerant Technology brought a bold rethinking of cybersecurity to the Beyond Profit Pitch Competition.

Instead of relying on software fixes, his approach moves security into hardware, separating ex*****on from control to create systems that are fundamentally resistant to attack.

It’s not just an idea - it’s already been built, tested, and proven.

A powerful vision for a safer digital future.
