Today, the goal was to come together as an event and raise as much funding as we could for Childhood Cancer Research and boy did we deliver! We’re happy to announce we raised $26,259!

Thank you to this year’s TOP fundraising team, Exit Realty Advantage NM and to our TOP fundraiser Santa Fe Fire Fighter, Mr. Rollin Jones!

Heroes come in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Some say our heroes are the ones with badges like our brothers and sisters in Law Enforcement and Fire. Some say heroes are behind the phone and microphone like our 911 dispatchers…

But the TRUE heroes are the children that go through chemo, surgery, have to take meds, the ones just trying to survive after being diagnosed with cancer. THOSE are our heroes!!

Join us on June 4th in celebrating and honoring the real heroes. The children. There is still time to donate and sign up to participate in our head shaving event!

We are 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 to announce we have changed the location of our event. FOP Santa Fe Lodge # 3 will be hosting us this year at 3300 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗮! St. Baldricks – Santa Fe Heroes Event …. Why do we do what we do?

Our event, The St Baldrick’s Santa Fe Heroes event, began 3 years ago with our first annual event held in 2018. Prior to this local event getting it’s start; Santa Fe County Firefighters and Sheriff’s Deputies had been participating in different St Baldrick’s events in other parts of the state doing what they can to give back and help raise money to help fund childhood cancer research. In 2017, the two departments came together to combine their individual efforts and bring an event to our local Santa Fe County community the following year. We believe that giving back is one of our core values in public safety. Not only while we’re on duty, but also in our off time by volunteering with organizations like the St Baldrick’s Foundation.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. We, at St Baldrick’s Santa Fe Heroes, wanted to get our entire local community rallied around fighting this horrible disease. Together, our community has the power to come together to help battle Childhood Cancer. While we may not find a cure today, the treatments and research we help to fund is currently saving the lives of children and adults across the globe.
