Santa Fe Marimba Festival The Santa Fe Marimba Festival is a unique musical & educational event based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. and world premiers for marimba and orchestra.

The Festival features top international marimba & vibraphone artists from all musical genres, who will perform as well as teach workshops & master classes Join us in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, for a three day celebration of the marimba: June 6-9, 2012, featuring some of the finest marimba artists on the planet. Daily workshops with artists from Japan, Croatia, Taiwan, Belgium, Germany and the

US. Day time and evening concerts include a performance by Double Image Friday night, with Dave Samuels and David Friedman. Saturday night’s concert with the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus will highlight four U.S.

Gotta say, the Santa Fe Marimba Festival is taking on a life of its own. Besides the great workshops and concerts we are going to have marimba buskers of every sort all around downtown Santa Fe during the festival. Marimba music everywhere. How cool is that!

Unfortunately, Double Image will not be attending the festival but i their place we have the fantastic Latin Jazz extraordinaire, Victor Mendoza who will be performing with and all start band from Santa Fe. The Festival had a great promotional party Sat. 3.24. Valerie Naranjo and her husband, Barry Olsen, mesmerized a full house and then we all danced to the local marimba group JAKA. Great fun and good buzz for the festival.
