Santa Fe Improv At Santa Fe Improv we offer adult comedy improv classes, workshops, weekly performances, and teen summer camps. SFI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We. Teach. Improv.

We also teach communication in schools through our Improv4Schools program at no cost to the school or students. Learn longform comedy improv with experts in the field. Classes for all levels running year-round. Comedy improv shows once a month at the Santa Fe Improv black box space in the Siler/Rufina arts district.

This is not a normal Santa Fe night.

We’re launching True Stories, a new monthly show where New Mexico’s most interesting people share unscripted stories that become live comedy — starting with Santa Fe local and acclaimed actor Cassidy Freeman (Paradise, The Righteous Gemstones, Longmire).

The audience gives a suggestion.
Cassidy uses it to inspire a true story.
Santa Fe Improv’s best performers turn that story into scenes on the spot.

Complimentary beer, wine, and popcorn at the show.

Proceeds support Improv4Schools™, our free improv program in New Mexico public middle and high schools.

Since January, twelve Upward Bound students have shown up every week to improvise. Not to become comedians. To get better at the things improv actually teaches: speak up, listen hard, fail in front of people, keep going.
Saturday they take the stage as Cup of Noodles. They open for Big Jabroni. Forty hours of work, one bow.
