Feel Good Friday 🐾
Angel 😇 Ale Luna went to visit sweet Ale & Luna at Duke City Dog Spa yesterday 😭 She was feeding them in a South Valley mobile home park for almost 2 years until we recovered them several weeks ago. She was never able to get near Luna & L👀K at her now! Ale had become more friendly & he would allow pets but Luna was always more shy. Unfortunately the folks that were interested in meeting this deserving duo adopted 2 puppies so we're back to square one 🥹 Although the decompression & enrichment at boarding has been extremely effective for them & we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity, we'd really like to start getting them acclimated to a safe secure place with indoor/outdoor access along with interaction. Ideally if somebody can even foster until we find a permanent solution, please send any leads our way, we appreciate all hands on deck. They are a bonded pair & must go together 🙏

Sweet Ale & Luna were ✂️ and vaccinated yesterday & were taken back to Duke City Dog Spa. They did so good & have come so far. They are extremely bonded. Any time Ale is out of Luna's sight she whimpers. A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico for sponsoring their spay & neuter and THANK YOU Express Vet NM for your kind, compassionate care 🐾
We hope their meet & greet goes well for this deserving duo 🙏

This sweet deserving duo we secured almost 2 weeks ago that escaped the enclosure they were put in that we had to secure again 24 hours later are still in boarding. They are decompressing nicely but as you can imagine the cost of boarding 2 dogs 😰 While we are grateful for Duke City Dog Spa giving them the opportunity to a safe secure place we can't deplete our very limited resources. We currently can't take on any cases until we get Ale & Luna situated. We have no solid leads for them. If anybody feels inclined to donate towards their staycation we would be so very grateful.
