IAIA Alumni Council Elections—September 2023

The Alumni Council is the principal representative of IAIA alum and the primary forum for exchanging alum sentiment. The Alumni Council consists of seven members who will serve for a three-year term. The Alumni Council meets one time each month, with councilors attending by conference call.

Eligibility to vote: To be eligible, you must hold a degree from IAIA (a high school diploma, AA, AFA, BA, BFA, or MFA).

The Alumni Council elections will be held from September 18–30, 2023. Four council positions need to be filled. Please vote and review each candidate’s biography and candidate statements here: https://mailchi.mp/iaia/iaia-alumni-council-elections-september

View the 2023 IAIA Benefit & Auction art at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) from August 3–14. This year’s IAIA Benefit & Auction includes over 50 pieces of contemporary jewelry, glassworks, paintings, pottery, and more donated by renowned and emerging Indigenous artists, galleries, and donors. The 2023 IAIA Auction Art Preview will be displayed at MoCNA on the second floor during regular museum hours with admission. Bidding in the online auction is now open, and registration to bid online remotely is free and open to everyone. The live auction will take place on August 16 at 8 pm (MDT). Ticketholders for the 2023 IAIA Benefit & Auction at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, NM, on August 16 from 5–9:30 pm (MDT) are automatically registered for the online and live auctions.
