Railyard Park Conservancy The Railyard Park Conservancy was originally a program under the nonprofit Trust for Public Land. With us, discover your place in the Railyard Park!

The Railyard Park Conservancy's mission is to provide community stewardship and advocacy for the care, educational programming, and public art in the Railyard Park and Plaza. The Railyard Park Conservancy is a local organization working in partnership with the City of Santa Fe in a unique care, conservation and education effort to encourage residents to actively participate in our newest and largest city park and adjacent community plaza. The Railyard Park Conservancy serve as the community ‘friends of’ group of the Railyard Park + Plaza in Santa Fe. The Railyard Park Conservancy is modeled after such successful stewardship groups as New York’s Central Park Conservancy. The Railyard Park Conservancy support the City of Santa Fe’s regular park maintenance by providing specialized care of the park’s ornamental gardens; coordinating extensive community outreach programs; and maintaining ongoing oversight of the park’s horticultural programs and design.

From 11am-12pm, get your picture taken with a member of the Amanita Thorp Berto herd (BYO camera). Costumes are definitely encouraged!

Fall temperatures are upon us, Santa Fe! What better way to celebrate than by getting outside in the Railyard Park! Join us for an afternoon of gardening and socializing, followed by an after-party at Second Street Brewery. Bring a water bottle, gloves, and dress for the weather; we’ll provide the tools and training.

All volunteers will receive:

🍂 Happy hour b**r and “bites” food menu pricing at Second Street following the event;
🌼 Entry in a raffle to win two tickets on the Sky Railway train;
🍂 The satisfaction of contributing to the community stewardship of Santa Fe’s only
sustainable, drought-tolerant public green space.

Graze Days is back! This herd is key to helping manage areas of the park where we need a little extra hand (or hoof). They not only munch down the weeds and grasses like a natural lawn mower, but their presence also encourages a healthy soil biome!

Come out to see these amazing critters work their magic, and learn a little something about healthy soil principles and the benefits of prescribed grazing for the ecosystem.

Follow the Goats & Sheep This Way signs to the grasslands next to the Open Field.

Pop Up Playground celebrates kids, their imaginations, and their boundless creativity with a fun-filled kid festival in Santa Fe’s beautiful Railyard Park!

Kids of all ages are free to build the ultimate fort city using recycled materials like logs, pallets, boxes, rope and fabric. We’ll have paint galore to add color to your own imaginary world.

There will be live music from the Bluegrass & Bagels crew and Zuva ☀️

Come one, come all to the final day of Sand Play Saturday!

We’re getting out the cups, bowls, tractors, shovels and sieves for one last great summer day of play.

As always, we’ll provide the sand, mud, and water. You just bring your imagination and love for the mud. (Plus water bottle, hat, sunscreen etc.)

We will meet at:

Rainbow Dash is ready for his close-up at this year’s Graze & Groove! Stop by our Goat Photo Booth on your way into As Above So Below and snap a photo with the evening’s most photogenic guest. (No offense, DJ ErinE.)

We can’t scientifically prove that a handcrafted signature cocktail from As Above So Below will make you a better dancer. But Graze & Groove seems like an excellent place to conduct further research.

This year’s Golden Ticket could take your grazing a long way from the Railyard.

For just $100, you’ll have a 1-in-100 chance to win a getaway to one of four destinations, including Tuscany, complete with a cooking demonstration and tastings of the region’s famously delicious cuisine. The winner chooses their adventure: Tuscany, Costa Rica, Lexington, KY, or Nashville, TN.

Only 100 Golden Tickets will be sold, and you DON’T have to attend Graze & Groove to win. (Although we’d sure love it if you joined us! 😊)
