📣 We're moving into a new office and studio space - and we need your help to make our space warm and inviting! Do you have any floor lamps, small desks, living room chairs, or small bookshelves you no longer need? Email [email protected] to arrange pickup!

As many of you know, we gave up our office space in 2020, and ever since, our staff has been working remotely and renting spaces from collaborators for self-defense classes. We've missed having our own space and being able to host more classes and community events - so we're thrilled to announce that we've found a new home for Resolve!

We'll be able to host classes in our studio, which means we'll be announcing new public classes soon!

PS- We'll be hosting an open house once all the dust settles, and we'd love to see you there 🙂

We are SO incredibly honored to be a 2026 Piñon Award recipient! Resolve is being honored with the Quiet Inspiration Award, which recognizes an organization whose hallmark is working quietly and respectfully among a wide range of people in the community while earning the lasting trust of those it serves.

Presented by the Santa Fe Community Foundation, the Piñon Awards are among northern New Mexico's most prestigious recognitions of nonprofit excellence. It means the world to be on the list with many incredible current and past honorees! Thank you so much to our community for the support - and to the Santa Fe Community Foundation for recognizing our 26 years of collaborating with schools and community organizations to prevent violence.

Join us in celebrating on October 6 at La Fonda on the Plaza! Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, September 1st.

Thank you Santa Fe Community Foundation for supporting our neighbors to the north ❤️

Our neighbors need our support. As the Frijoles Fire continues to threaten communities in northern Santa Fe County, the Santa Fe Community Foundation has established the Frijoles Fire 2026 Fund to support those affected.

Working alongside trusted local partners, we’ll direct resources where they are needed most.

Please join us in showing up for our neighbors with a gift today: https://www.santafecf.org/news-stories/frijoles-fire

For many of us, the term ‘conflict’ has a negative connotation. But the reality is that conflict is a part of everyday life, and avoiding conflict often leaves us feeling stuck, unhappy, or misaligned with our values. With the right tools, we can reframe conflicts as opportunities to communicate more effectively with others - and ultimately engage in social change!

In this free online workshop, participants will discuss various conflict responses and examine how our individual reactions toward these responses affect our day-to-day conflict management. You'll leave with new tools and perspectives for navigating interpersonal dynamics and advocating for social justice. (For more hands-on practice with these tools, stay tuned for an interactive 4-hour workshop on August 26th!)

Asking for help is not weakness. Talking about what you're going through is not weakness. Real friendships and relationships are built on honesty and that takes courage. It might not always be easy but it’s worth it. It starts with us.
