Join us for a talk by author Carla Chung Mattix about her August 2026 book National Parks and the Supreme Court: Groundbreaking Legal Battles.

There will be a small reception and book signing with the author following the presentation. Books will be available for purchase; all proceeds support the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library.

Join the Friends for a special screening of Steel Magnolias on Saturday, August 29 at Sky Cinema Midtown, 1020 Midtown Calle Central! Guest performances by Ruby Oland and Natanya Manson and food provided by Steam & Smoke BBQ starts at 6pm. The film screening starts at 6:45pm. After party to follow at the Hotel Glorieta!

In honor of Dolly Parton and her lifelong dedication to literacy, 10% of ticket sales will benefit the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library.
