Cub Scout Pack 57 in Santa Fe, NM

Cub Scout Pack 57 spent the morning honoring the men and women who served our great country and who are at rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery this morning. Pack 57, Troop 57, along with other volunteer groups placed flags and read the names at the roughly 65,000 to 70,000 internments.

Join us for Popsicles in the Park, a fun council-wide membership event! Scouts and families are invited to bring a friend, enjoy a free popsicle, and participate in a simple outdoor activity together. It’s a great chance for new families to see what Scouting is all about while spending time outside and having fun.

Events will be happening across the council in multiple park locations, so find the one closest to you and come join the fun! Locations to be announced soon!

Cub Scout Units in the North Service Area!!! Are your Scouts wanting to go to Day Camp? Early Bird registration (and the accompanying $10 discount) ends tonight! Also - only Scouts who are registered by the deadline will get a Camp T-Shirt!

Units should register all their Scouts in a single registration - not individual family registrations!

The Arrow of Light den in Pack 57 organized a food drive. Cubmaster Scott said if the kids could gather 900 pounds of food or more, he would shave his beard. Well, they collected 973 pounds! The Pack got to watch him shave his beard at tonight’s meeting.

The Bears took a lovely hike along the Santa Fe River, and learned about outdoor ethics. We discussed the outdoor code and the leave no trace principle.

Our spring camp out was lots of fun! We were able to complete several adventures and had a variety of weather conditions.

Pinewood Derby 2025 is in the books! We had a great time and the kids did outstanding work on their cars! A BIG THANK You goes out to all the parents and families that made the day fun and a success!
