Growing Up New Mexico

Growing Up New Mexico Growing Up NM: The Early Childhood Partnership is focused on early education policy and programs Our sole focus is early childhood education and care.

Through a sequential pipeline of opportunities, our programs bring the community together to plan, advocate, and to provide programs, prenatal to age five. Our children become more successful in school and in life, our families become more resilient, our community becomes stronger both now and in the future. Our policy branch works with state government, private partners, and community stakeholder

s to secure funding and management of resources for families with children under 5 years old. We shorten the distance from policy to action with short and long-term solutions to improve access to and opportunity for success in school and life.

Yesterday in Albuquerque was an important conversation about turning recent child care progress into real support for providers, educators, and families across New Mexico. 🌱💛

New Mexico still needs about 12,000 child care spots, and a new law could make it easier for more in-home day cares to open.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today for Child Care: Growing Supply in Albuquerque 🌱

We are so grateful to the state and local leaders who joined us at Starr Brothers to speak about growing child care supply in New Mexico and carrying this momentum forward.

Today was about celebrating progress, connecting early childhood educators and providers with resources and support, and focusing on the partnerships and implementation needed to grow child care supply across our state.

Thank you to the educators, community partners, resource tables, and everyone who helped make today possible. 💛✨

We’re so excited to see you today! 🌱✨
