SB219 is sitting on the Governor's desk. What makes this moment a unique moment? If this bill is signed, it will be the first psychedelic therapies movement to be enacted through a legislative effort, not a ballot measure like Oregon or Colorado. What makes this moment not special, or not unique? Arizona passed a similar but different bill just last year, and their Governor did not sign it, making it a pocket veto.

SB219 passed the Finance Committee today with a vote of 7-3! The bill now goes to the Senate Floor. We still have a ways to go and the legislature is only in session until noon on the 22nd, which gives us two weeks!
