Thank you to everyone to came out to help create the Master Plan designs for Valle Del Pajaro County Park!

We are eternally grateful to Santa Cruz METRO for helping transport participants such as youth leaders from MILPA Collective 👏 Santa Cruz County Parks continues to lead by centering community to drive their work and Watsonville Wetlands Watch for providing native plants and fruit trees as a thank you to participants.

During a time of tight budgets and hard decisions, we are so proud to be part of this bright light, caring for each other right here at home.

Treasure Cove Grand Opening Postponed

The City of Capitola regrets to announce that the Community Center and Treasure Cove Playground grand opening, originally scheduled for June 17, has been postponed due to construction delays. They are currently targeting mid-August for the event.

Save the date for the Grand Opening! We are so proud to see the beautiful Treasure Cove Universally Accessible Playground at Jade Street Park become reality.

Huge thanks to more than 1500 donors who helped raise $1 million in private funds! Congratulations to the for prioritizing “Play for All.”

This project is one of 10 major park improvements County Park Friends has been proud to champion since our start in 2019!
