Join Little Hill Sanctuary and Santa Cruz Vegfest in collaboration with Santa Cruz Vegans and Santa Cruz Animal Activists this Friday, October 16th at UCSC for The Anti Vivisection Alliance 4th annual World Anti Vivisection Protest.

This is an incredible opportunity to come together with The Anti Vivisection Alliance and more than 50 cities all around the world to stand up against animal testing and make our voices heard for the animals suffering right now inside laboratories.

Everyone is welcome. We will meet at Quarry Plaza at UCSC at 2pm on Friday, October 16th. We will have some signs and materials available but please feel free to get creative and bring your own. We hope to see you there!

Put on your boots and spend an afternoon with the pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys who call Little Hill Sanctuary home this Sunday, October 11 for our annual Open Farm Tour! Join us on Saturday, October 24, at the Santa Cruz Portuguese Hall, for an afternoon dedicated to everyone's favorite comfort food, mac and cheese! But it's all vegan 😍

Competing chefs will be serving up their best creations, and you'll get to taste them all and vote for your favorite one. Bring your friends, bring your family, and yes... bring anyone who still thinks vegan mac and cheese can't compete. πŸ˜‰

A vendor market will also be open from 12–2 PM, with more local food, treats, and goodies to explore while you’re there.

Every year, 70 billion cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, goats, sheep, and other sentient land animals are killed around the world in factory farms.

World Farm Animal Day has been celebrated since 1983 to mourn and memorialize the lives of farmed animals lost to animal agriculture.

This year, please honor their lives by making a difference. There are so many ways to support farmed animals and educate others on the atrocities they endure in the food system. Watch a vegan documentary, attend a vigil,
plan a protest, or make a donation to one of the many farm sanctuaries throughout the world. And always leave animals off your plate.
