You are all invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the UC Santa Cruz SAVE THE FROGS! Chapter, Friday June 7th, from 3pm-4pm.

The meeting will take place in the Kresge Student Lounge. We will discuss the Chapter's priorities and frog saving methods. Please bring some frog-friendly friends and help us save Santa Cruz county's amphibians and create a more environmentally aware -- and active -- student body.

DIRECTIONS: The Kresge Student Lounge is located at Kresge College near Lower Street next to building 1R. For those arriving from outside of campus, take Empire Grade towards the University and turn on Heller Dr. Then turn on Porter-Kresge Rd. until you reach Kresge College. Contact Fernando at 310 245 9722 if there are any questions.

VOLUNTEERS:Our worldwide frog saving efforts emanate from right here in Santa Cruz. I am always seeking volunteers to help out in our River Street office on a variety of tasks. Please let me know if you are intelligent, reliable, motivated, interested and have a few hours per week to help me SAVE THE FROGS!. Students: if your school offers you internship credit to volunteer, this is a great way to get actual professional experience, help the planet, and get school credits!

Badgers reinhabit Quail Hollow!
Join us on May 11 at 1 as we go to check out some badger burrows at Quail Hollow County Park (in Ben Lomond) and try to figure out where they came from and what changes they may make in the local ecosystem. (We probably won't see any because they're nocturnal.) Meet in the parking lot. For more info [email protected].
