Every year, 100% of Hoes Down proceeds go straight back into the farming and sustainability community that makes this festival possible. 🌾

Meet a few of the incredible nonprofits and organizations we partner with and who receive funding from the festival:

🌿 Cache Creek Conservancy — restoring and preserving the Cache Creek watershed. Find them leading guided nature walks through the riparian habitat of Cache Creek.
🧡 CAFF (Community Alliance with Family Farmers) — building sustainable food and farming systems through policy advocacy and hands-on programs. Find them serving ice cream and galettes, and sharing information on how to support family farms.
🎃 Esparto FFA — a student-led ag education and leadership organization. Find them running the pumpkin carving station.
🌱 UC Davis Student Farm — 23 acres where students explore and lead sustainable food systems. Find them serving dinner at the Full Belly kitchen.

Hoes Down isn't just a festival, it's also a fundraiser for the future of sustainable agriculture in Northern California. Every ticket and dollar spent on-site helps fund the work these organizations do all year long.

Tickets are on sale now at eco-farm.org/hoes-down. Groups get 15% in the month of August!

Help bring the 35th Annual Hoes Down Harvest Festival to life. 🌻

For 35 years, Hoes Down has been powered by volunteers. Whether they're prepping meals, greeting guests, setting up workshops, or helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes, their support is what makes this festival possible.

We are kicking off our Voices of Hoes Down series by celebrating the volunteers who have kept this festival thriving for 35 years. Laurie Niles has been a part of our festival community for many years as both an attendee and dedicated volunteer. You can find her painting beautiful signs, setting up the festival on Friday or serving breakfast Sunday morning!

Ready to be part of it? Volunteer for a four-hour shift and receive free admission to the festival, a behind-the-scenes experience, and the opportunity to support ecological farming and thriving rural communities.

Whether you are returning for another year or joining us for the first time, we would love to have you on the team.

🌻 Sign up to volunteer through the link in our bio. We can’t wait to see you soon at Full Belly Farm!
