In 2018 we took in a layup mare, Sweet Catarina, to help her recover from a fractured hip. Her recovery was difficult but she was an amazing patient. Once she was healed, her owner called and said he was going to send her to Kentucky to become a mama. We were so thrilled for her and this second chance at a new life.
Last week we took in her son, Yamamotown, who we're going to call Yoshi. He came in with the same worried eye that his mama had when she arrived, but we know he'll soon relax knowing that he's landed in a safe place.
We're so excited to start working with him and tell him all about his mama's adventures with us.
