A little trip down memory lane… ☕️💕

In February 2025, I posted:

“Any girlies in Santa Clarita? I need coffee date friends.” 🥺

That was it.

No logo.
No events.
One group chat.
No idea what SCV Girlies would become.

Just one post and a hope that maybe a few women would want to grab coffee.

Since then, we’ve shared brunches, walks, girls’ nights, wellness events, book swaps, networking events, coffee dates, and countless conversations that started with complete strangers saying, “I’ll come.”

Looking through these old flyers and photos is a reminder that communities aren’t built overnight.

They’re built one message, one RSVP, one friendship, and one brave “I’ll come alone” at a time. 🤍

To every woman who has joined us along the way: thank you for helping turn a simple search for friendship into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made—and the ones still to come. ✨🥂

☀️ June with SCV Girlies ☀️

This month feels a little different 🤍

Instead of constantly trying to do more, be more, or pack our schedules full, we wanted June to feel slower, softer, and more intentional.

A Taco Tuesday after work.
A wellness walk in the middle of the week.
A yoga class.
A self care night.
A conversation with someone new.

Life gets busy, especially during the summer, so we’re leaning into simple opportunities to connect, recharge, and build genuine friendships along the way.

SCV Girlies was never meant to just live online. It was built around real, in person connection and creating opportunities for women to show up, meet new people, support local businesses, and build community in real life.

A lot of us moved here not really knowing anyone outside of work, school, or our everyday routines. We know how hard it can feel putting yourself out there and trying to make genuine friendships as an adult. That’s exactly why this community exists ☀️

We can create the space, but the magic happens when you decide to show up 🤍

Tag a friend, RSVP to an event, and challenge yourself to come to at least one thing this month. You never know who you might meet ✨

And keep an eye on our pages too because we may post a few spontaneous little pop up plans throughout the month 👀
