What a fun evening at the SCV Boss Ladies 4th annual Trunk or Treat!! Zonta is the chosen non-profit for the networking group the SCV Boss Ladies and we had so much fun passing out candy and information about Zonta to the community!🎃

The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley announces Art for a Life Free from Violence, a powerful community art exhibition dedicated to elevating voices and experiences that are too often silenced. Through visual expression, the exhibit invites artists and viewers alike to witness, reflect, and stand together in solidarity against violence in all its forms.

The theme We See You. We Hear You. We Stand with You, underscores the role of art as both testimony and response. The exhibition creates space for acknowledging harm, believing survivors, and embracing collective responsibility for change. Art becomes a platform for processing experiences, expressing care, and inspiring advocacy.

This exhibit honors the courage of those who have endured violence and celebrates the strength of community support. Exhibit will run the weekend of Friday December 4th through Sunday December 6th with a Closing Reception on December 6th at 1PM.

The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley is thrilled to celebrate the reestablishment of the Saugus Z Club! On October 8, more than 20 students were inducted as charter members and new officers were installed, marking an exciting new chapter of leadership, service, and advocacy.

Officially chartered by Zonta International on September 16, 2026, the club is ready to make a difference on campus and throughout our community. Even before their induction, students had already proposed a dozen service projects focused on building a better world for women and girls!

Sponsored by the Zonta Club of SCV, Saugus Z Club joins Canyon, Castaic, Golden Valley, and West Ranch as the fifth Z Club sponsored by our organization within the Hart District.

The Zonta Club of SCV is so excited to support women in the Santa Clarita Valley by participating in the Child & Family Center Purple Walk- Domestic Violence Awareness 5K 💜

The Purple Walk raises funds that are critical in providing domestic violence services to those in our community. Zonta supports the Child & Family Center’s mission to provide domestic violence services for individuals and their children. The services are free and include safety, shelter, and support for survivors. Zonta believes in protecting all women and children and ending gender-based violence.

On October 2nd, the Unite Against Domestic Violence event brought together community members for an insightful and engaging panel discussion. The conversation provided attendees with important information, valuable resources, and practical perspectives on issues affecting individuals and families in our community. Audience participation was strong, with thoughtful questions and interactive discussion making the event especially impactful.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Nicole Miller, Zonta District 9 Governor, for serving as moderator and helping facilitate such a meaningful conversation. We also thank our exceptional panelists: Pilar Schiavo, California State Assembly Member; Detective Victoria Lambrecht of the LA County Sheriff’s Department; Eve Scanlon, DV Advocate; and Felicia Skaggs, Division Director of Child & Family Center. In the United States, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 2 minutes. 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. During this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like to highlight Circle of Hope. Circle of Hope provides emotional, educational, and financial assistance along with supportive wellness therapies to the Santa Clarita Valley cancer community.

This month is an opportunity to come together to raise our voices against domestic violence and support those who have been affected. Let’s shine a light on the importance of awareness, education, and compassion. Together we can break the silence, offer hope, and foster a community where everyone feels safe and valued.
