As we break ties with the things of this world and become like Christ, our hearts have more room for the things that matter. Nothing can or will satisfy us more than loving God and being loved by Him. How can you pursue more of this truth today?

That “almost” new year feeling! As we get ready to start another year, here are some questions to think through:

→ What’s one daily habit you can put into practice to strengthen your relationship with Jesus?
→ As a coach or athlete, how will you lead your team in a way that magnifies Christ in your life?
→ What’s one area in your spiritual life you need God to help you with the most?

The end of the year is always a great time to look back and reflect on what went well, and what could have gone better. Pray and ask God to help you focus on Him and discover more of who He wants you to become this next year. Nothing matters more than who you are in Christ!

Are you waiting on God to move? Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Our King has come and He will come again. When you’re tired, burnt out, or in need of rest – trust that God is there to help and provide you with what your soul needs. He is why we wait, why we trust and why we have hope in every season. What’s one thing you can do to rest in the Lord as the new year approaches? Pray, spend time reading God’s Word, have a conversation about Jesus with a friend…do something that gives you rest and fills you up.
