Triumph Foundation Triumph Foundation is a non-profit helping kids, adults and veterans triumph over Spinal Cord Injury and disabilities.

Triumph Foundation exists to help children, adults, and Veterans to triumph over obstacles they face after suffering catastrophic injuries and disabilities. Our goal is to help people maximize their recovery by finding solutions to increase mobility, independence, improve self-efficacy, and reintegrate back into the community. We do this by providing hope, education, referrals, grants, and activities to people who have mobility impairments. We are there initially when the injury/disorder/disease occurs and as a lifelong support network, providing a continuum of care. Additionally, we hold events that are a captivating force within the entire community. Our Impact:
Since our inception in 2008, Triumph Foundation has touched the lives of over 12,000 individuals. Programs include:

Newly Injured Support
∗ Provided over 2,000 Care Packs full of resources to newly paralyzed people
∗ 80 trained peer-mentor Ambassadors that regularly visit 23 hospitals & rehabilitation centers
∗ Lead 15 Support Groups that meet throughout Southern California

Grants & Equipment
∗ $1,000,000 in assistance to people with inadequate medical insurance & financial hardship
∗ Dozens of remodels to make homes more wheelchair accessible
∗ 20 adapted vehicles to people without the means to purchase one on their own

Adaptive Sports & Recreation
∗ Activities include handcycling, baseball, wheelchair basketball, quad rugby, and more
∗ 1,000+ attend annual Wheelchair Sports Festivals
∗ Over 20 adaptive recreational activities annually

Triumph specializes in helping people that have Spinal Cord Injury and those living with neuromuscular diseases that cause paralysis. Many of our programs are open to any person dealing with disability. Our outreach supports people of all backgrounds and demographics to build an inclusive community. We provide resources and assistance to people across the United States, but the majority of our outreach activities take place in Southern California. Triumph Foundation also works to educate the general population about people living with disabilities, inclusiveness, and guidance on dealing with life challenges. We specialize in motivating and inspiring all to live a life of purpose.

When Dylan sustained a C5 spinal cord injury in January 2026, life changed in an instant. Suddenly, everyday tasks like bathing and visiting family required careful planning and the help of others.

He dreamed of visiting his parents and his sisters - both military spouses whose families relocate frequently - but without a portable shower solution, even a short trip felt overwhelming.

Because of you, that barrier has been removed.

Through our Keep Moving Forward Grant program, you provided Dylan with a travel commode/shower chair, giving him a safe, reliable way to bathe wherever life takes him. Now he can confidently visit family, focus on his recovery, and continue rebuilding his independence.

"The shower chair has been a lifesaver," Dylan shared. "It has made a huge difference in the way I travel... Thank you for helping me to keep moving forward."

These grants are made possible by generous supporters who believe in our mission to help people triumph over paralysis.

On Thursday, November 12th, we'll come together for the Triumph Foundation Gala at the Petersen Automotive Museum to celebrate our community and raise critical funds for programs like our grants, adaptive recreation, Equipment Exchange, support groups, and more. 💙 Sharing Our Stories, Building a Stronger Community!

Our Triumph Foundation Ambassadors recently had the opportunity to speak with students at West Coast University, sharing their personal experiences living with spinal cord injuries and the importance of support, accessibility, and community.

Community outreach is a huge part of what we do at Triumph! By connecting with future healthcare professionals, we're helping build awareness, encourage understanding, and make a lasting impact on the next generation of caregivers.

A big thank you to West Coast University for welcoming our Ambassadors!
